Please be aware of the following exclusions and limitations, so far as our companions/aides are concerned:

Our Aides/Companions


Will not administer medication
 
Will not purchase or serve alcoholic beverages
 
Will not insert catheter
 
Will not suction or irrigate wounds
 
Will not care for tracheostomies
 
Will not start and maintain IV infusions
 
Will not change sterile dressings
 
Will not administer heat therapy
 
Will not house sit for absentee client
 
Will not chauffeur client, unless it is part of the initial care plan
 
Will not handle client's financial matters
 
Will not perform domestic chores such as: moving furniture, window cleaning, changing window dressing, scrubbing floors, etc.
 
Will not run any other errands, unless agreed to in writing by aide/companion and agency
